PHILADELPHIA – Drexel women's squash went 2-0 on the final day of the Pennsylvania State Classic, defeating Chatham 8-1 and Franklin and Marshall 9-0.
Drexel defeated Chatham 8-1, with dominant 3-0 wins from Emi Falconi, Lydia Robinson, Awande Malinga, Eveli Mälk, Claudia Adam, Ariyan Irani, and Maddie Laine. Clara Braga secured Chatham's only win, beating Raya Singh 3-0.
Drexel swept Franklin and Marshall 9-0, with straight-set victories across the board. Dina Rosli, Emi Falconi, Awande Malinga, Raya Singh, Eveli Mälk, Claudia Adam, Ariyan Irani, Maddie Laine, and Ava Prokes all delivered flawless performances.
The Dragons will take on Princeton on the road on Saturday. The matchup begins at 2:30pm.
