Women's Tennis Upended by Cornell, 5-2

PHILADELPHIA— The Drexel women's tennis team was defeated by the Cornell Big Red, 5-2, on Sunday afternoon at the Vidas Courts.
Drexel captured the doubles point after winning the second and third-seeded matches. Elisa Rigazio and Maddie Ricardo won the No. 2 match, 6-2, while Isabel Cabrerizo and Adva Dabah won the third-seeded match, 6-4.
In singles play, Cabrerizo captured Drexel's second victory after finishing her opponent, 7-5, 6-1.
Drexel looks to start its conference slate on Saturday, March 16, against the Hofstra Pride. First serve is slated for 11 a.m.
