Dragons of the Week: Baker and Jesudason

PHILADELPHIA - Amaris Baker of women's basketball and Alan Jesudason of men's tennis have been named the Drexel Dragons of the Week, presented by Rothman Orthopaedics, for the week from March 11 - March 17.
Amaris Baker was named the Most Outstanding Player in the CAA Women's Basketball tournament as she guided the Dragons to its third conference title and a trip to the NCAA Tournament. Baker scored 19.8 points per game in the four-day stretch. In the championship against Stony Brook, the junior recorded four assists and three rebounds.
Alan Jesudason defeated Army West Point in singles and doubles action to lead the Dragons to a 6-1 victory over the Black Knights on Friday evening. Jesudason and Alex De Sousa were victorious 6-3 over Vishnu Bodavula / Samuel Haikal (ARMY). As the No. 1 match, Jesudason was victorious in two sets, 7-6,6-3, to claim DU's first singles point.
