Men's Tennis Falls to Penn, 4-0

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's tennis team was defeated by the Penn Quakers at the Hecht and Hamlin Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon, 4-0.
The Quakers won the team's first point of the match after capturing the doubles point with victories in the second and third-seeded matches. The No. 1 match featuring Alan Jesudason and Alex De Sousa was unfinished but the Dragons were down a point, 5-4.
In singles play, Penn captured points in the No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 matches to clinch the victory. Hussein El Tawil won the second set to force a third set. But the match was called short. In the No. 1 match, Jesudason was ahead, 6-0, 5-2 to his opponent before the match was called.
Drexel travels south to Charleston on Wednesday, March 27.
