Women's Tennis Takes Down Dayton, 4-3

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel women's tennis team defeated the Dayton Flyers, 4-3, on Sunday afternoon at the Vidas Courts.
Dayton took the doubles point after winning the top-seeded and second-seeded matches.
In singles play, Lorie Lemongo won decisively in the No. 1 match, 6-1, 6-2. In the second-seeded match, Elisa Rigazio defeated her opponent 6-3, 6-4. In the fourth-seeded match, Isabel Cabrerizo defeated her opponent 7-5, 6-2. Lastly, Rebecca Fiedler earned a 6-1, 7-5 victory in the fifth-seeded match.
The Dragons return to action on Wednesday, March 27 against the Charleston Cougars. The first serve is slated for 1 p.m.
