Women's Tennis Falls to Delaware, 6-1

NEWARK, Del. – The Drexel women's tennis team fell to the Delaware Blue Hens, 6-1, on Wednesday in Newark, Del.
Delaware jumped out to an early lead after taking the doubles point. In singles play, Elisa Rigazio won Drexel's lone point after defeating her opponent, 6-4, 0-6, 7-6 (3). The match had already been decided, as Delaware won the rest of the matches before the second-seeded match finished.
Drexel returns to action on April 17 against the Saint Joseph's Hawks at 2 p.m.
