The Dragons Earn Third Highest Team GPA in Division I Wrestling

MANHEIM, Pa. - The Drexel University wrestling team earned the third-highest GPA in Division I during the 2023-24 season as announced by the National Wrestling Coaches Association on Monday. Drexel's 3.5456 trailed only to Harvard (3.6134) and Cleveland State (3.5706). DU earned the top GPA three times in the last five years ('19,'20,'23).
Mike Moyer, Executive Director of NWCA, praised the achievements of these student-athletes, stating, "We are immensely proud to recognize the exceptional commitment demonstrated by these athletes, who showcase remarkable dedication both on and off the wrestling mat. Our heartfelt congratulations extend to all the teams for their outstanding accomplishments."
