Valigorsky and Yurcisin Receive Philly-SIDA Academic All-American Honors

PHILADELPHIA - Sam Valigorsky and Daniel Yurcisin of Drexel men's rowing have been named to the Philly-SIDA Academic All-American team.
In order to be eligible for Academic All-Area, a student-athlete must be in his or her second year at the institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better. The team is voted on by the sports information offices of 30 institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
The Dragons took home their third consecutive men's title and the overall championship at the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta this season. Additionally, DU matched a program best 14th overall finish at the IRA Nationals.
