Men's Squash Fell 6-3 to #5 Virginia

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – The Drexel men's squash team falls to #5 Virginia, 6-3. The Dragons are now 6-4 on the season.

Yuri Pelbart secured a 3-1 win over Maxwell Velazquez (11-9, 11-5, 7-11, 11-5), and Sean Murphy added another point with a hard-fought 3-1 win against Francis Hajek (11-6, 5-11, 11-4, 13-11). Tavneet Mundra delivered a 3-0 victory over CJ Baldini (11-5, 11-7, 12-10).

Several Drexel players extended their matches to five games. Fritiof Jacobsson battled but fell to Dylan Moran 3-2 (8-11, 11-2, 12-10, 8-11, 11-9), while Dima Dumitru lost a close five-game match to Ewan Harris (11-9, 9-11, 8-11, 11-7, 11-9).

Next on the schedule is the CSA Individual Championships in New York, N.Y. on January 24th-28th.
