Men's Squash Opens MASC Championships with a 9-0 Victory over Dickinson

LANCASTER, PA – Drexel men's squash opened day one of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships defeating Dickinson 9-0.

Guido Lindner won in straight sets 11-2, 11-2, 11-1 win over Owen Buroker, while Youssef Bastawy followed with an 11-7, 11-5, 11-4 victory against Noah George. Yuri Pelbart controlled his match, dropping just seven total points in an 11-1, 11-3, 11-3 win against Samuel Knipp.

Charlie Taylor and Sean Murphy each delivered strong performances, with Taylor winning 11-3, 11-5, 11-2 against Aidan Ray and Murphy securing an 11-1, 11-5, 11-3 victory over James Kiracofe. Tavneet Mundra, Thiago Cabrejos, and Darien Benn all dominated their matches, with Cabrejos and Benn allowing only six and seven total points, respectively.

The Dragons wrap up group stage tomorrow at 4:00pm against MIT.
