Dragons Fall 1-0 at Northeastern

Boston Mass. – Drexel field hockey dropped a 1–0 decision to Northeastern on Friday afternoon in CAA play. The Dragons move to 9–7 overall and 2–2 in conference action.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Dragons generated early pressure with four first-quarter shots and a pair of corners but were held off the scoreboard. Northeastern capitalized midway through the second quarter, scoring the game's lone goal in the 24th minute.
Drexel continued to push in the second half, outshooting the Huskies 9–2 over the final two quarters and earning seven penalty corners. The Dragons nearly equalized in the third when Natali Foster forced consecutive saves, but Northeastern's defense held firm to preserve the shutout.
Goalkeeper Halle Geiger recorded four saves in 55 minutes of play before Drexel went with an extra field player in the closing minutes.
