PHILADELPHIA — The Drexel women's soccer team concluded its 2025 season on Sunday afternoon at Vidas Field, falling to Towson, 3-0. The Dragons closed the campaign with a 3-7-8 overall record and collected eight points in the CAA standings.

Senior Maggie Hall was presented the 2025 LMK Award during the half, honoring former Drexel women's soccer player Laura Meikle-Koch.

Sammy Widnick earned six saves in the match, one shy of a career-high. Annie Clapp and Riley Lukach registered Drexel's only two shots on goal.

Towson opened the scoring early in the fifth minute when Emely Rubio served a free kick into the box to Malin Bernt Schöps, who headed it toward Kale'a Perry for the finish. Perry doubled the Tigers' lead in the 37th minute, converting a cross from Luisangely Navas Gonzalez with a right-footed strike.

The Tigers sealed the win in the 87th minute as Paelyn Bayer played a ball into the box for Rubio, who made a run down the middle and put away the final goal.
