Drexel Wrestling Releases Schedule for 2025-26 Campaign

PHILADELPHIA — The Drexel wrestling team has released the schedule for the 2025-26 campaign. The Dragons are set for seven matches at the Daskalakis Athletic Center, including a marquee showdown with Penn State on December 5.
Drexel will begin the season in tournament action, splitting the roster at the Navy Invitational and the Princeton Open on Nov. 2. DU will travel to Baltimore, Md., to kick off dual play Nov. 15, facing both Morgan State and Duke. The Dragons finish the month of November at the PRTC Keystone at The Palestra Nov. 23.
On December 5, Drexel will welcome four-time defending NCAA National Champion Penn State to the DAC. The match with PSU is presented by IBEW Local 98 / NECA. The opening bout is set for 7:30 p.m.
DU will face its second consecutive Big Ten opponent as they travel to Rutgers on Dec. 14, before heading to the West Coast to battle Cal Poly and Cal Baptist in back-to-back contests on Dec. 20.
Drexel opens the new year at the DAC against Purdue on Jan. 2. Jan. 9-10 the Dragons competed in the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa, for the NWCA Mid-Major National Duals. A week later, DU travels to Binghamton on Jan. 16.
The Dragons return to Philadelphia for five consecutive matches at the DAC. In its first match, Drexel hosts Franklin & Marshall on Jan. 31, followed by Hofstra on Feb. 1. Bucknell makes the trip to Philadelphia on Feb. 7. A week later, Drexel welcomes Rider on Feb. 14. DU closes out the homestand against LIU on Feb. 15.
Drexel will travel to College Park to take on Maryland on Feb. 20, their fourth matchup against a Big Ten opponent. The next day, the Dragons close out the regular season with a road test against American.
The EIWA Championships take place in Washington D.C., beginning March 6-7. The 2025-26 season culminates at the NCAA DI Championships at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, March 19-21.
