HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Drexel Dragons fell to the Colgate Raiders Tuesday night, 90-83, at the Reid Athletic Center. Shane Blakeney and Eli Beard led the team in scoring with 24 points each.
BY THE NUMBERS
Blakeney also recorded four assists, three rebounds and two steals. He was 7-11 from the field.
Beard had his best game as a Dragon. He shot 9-12 from the field and was 4-7 from three.
Victor Panov had 14 points, three rebounds and an assist.
The Dragons outrebounded the Raiders 30-27 and scored 30 points in the paint.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Raiders had a strong first half, leading 49-30 before the Dragons made a strong comeback in the second half.
A pair of free throws made by Martin De LaPorterie cut the lead to two with 9:37 to play.
The game remained close until the end when Colgate pulled ahead.
