Men’s Squash Opens Season With 8–1 Win Over Franklin & Marshall at the Pennsylvania State Classic

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's squash team began its season with a strong performance, earning an 8–1 win over Franklin & Marshall at the Pennsylvania State Classic. The Dragons won eight straight matches across the ladder, using a consistent, disciplined effort to secure their first victory of the campaign.
Drexel received contributions throughout the order, beginning with a four-game win from Nico Serna at the top spot. Guido Lindner pushed his match to five games before narrowly falling, but the Dragons followed with seven consecutive victories to close out the day. First-year Luhann Groenewald and junior Youssef Bastawy posted efficient 3–0 wins, while Yuri Pelbart, Tavneet Mundra, Dima Dumitru , Darien Benn and Sean Kiernan all added straight-game victories to round out the match.
