Van Den Berg and Shannon Named to All-CAA Team

RICHMOND, Va. – Finn Van Den Berg and Jack Shannon were named to the All-CAA Third Team for the 2025 season Tuesday afternoon. Shannon was also named to the All-Rookie Team.

In his first season with the Dragons, Van Den Berg started 13 games and played all 90 minutes in 11. He was an anchor on Drexel's backline, helping the Dragons to three shutouts against Mercyhurst, Stony Brook and LIU. Drexel allowed just 1.44 goals per game which ranked fifth in the CAA.Drexel finished the season ranked fifth in the CAA for average goals per game with 1.44. Van Den Berg also helped offensively with two assists.

Shannon finished his freshman campaign tied for third on the team in points with five. The Houston, Texas native started 14 games this season and played all 90 minutes in seven. He was named to the Top Drawer Soccer Midseason Freshman Top 100 and was CAA Player of the Week in September.
