Drexel Falls to Penn, 8-1

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel fell to No. 1 Penn Wednesday, 8-1, at the Penn Squash Center.
In the first two positions, Nico Serna and Guido Linner each won a game with two hard-fought points. Luhann Groenewald, Youssef Bastaway and Yuri Pelbart were competitive in their games in the third, fourth and fifth positions. In the sixth position, Charlie Taylor played competitively against Rustin Wiser. Thiago Cabrejos won his point against Zane Patel, 3-1, in the seventh. Tavneet Mundra fell 3-2 against Rehan Luthra in five hard-fought games. Dumitru Goian and Darien Benn both kept things close in the eighth and ninth positions.
The Dragons travel to New Haven, Connecticut, on Saturday to play No. 5 Yale before playing No. 7 Columbia on Sunday.
