Men's Squash Falls to Trinity College, 7-2

HARTFORD, CONN. – Drexel men's squash dropped their match at Trinity College, 7-2. The Dragons now sit at 9-6 on the season.

Yuri Pelbart picked up a victory at the third position, bouncing back after dropping the first game to win 7-11, 11-7, 11-5, 11-5. Tavneet Mundra delivered a five-game battle, edging out Ahmed Ismail 4-11, 11-5, 13-11, 8-11, 11-8 to add another win for Drexel.

Several matches were tightly contested, including Youssef Bastawy's four-game battle with Benedek Takacs, where he pushed the final game to an extended 20-18 before falling. Darien Benn also fought hard in a five-game thriller against Marawan ElBorolossy, forcing a deciding game after winning a 15-13 fourth, but ultimately came up short 11-9, 8-11, 11-2, 13-15, 11-7.

Next for the Dragons is hosting Penn on February 20th at 7:00pm.
