PHILADELPHIA – Drexel men's tennis knocked off the A10 champs VCU, 4-3. This is the Dragons are now 4-3 on the season.
In doubles, the duo of Will Burridge and Hussein El Tawil picked up a 6-4 win, while Drexel also secured a default victory to take the doubles point. In singles, Egor Kirakosov dominated his match before his opponent retired, and Josue Guzman secured a default win. Roman Lafond sealed the team victory with a strong three-set performance, defeating Kostiantyn Mantach 6-1, 3-6, 6-1.
The Dragons will go on the road to Bethlehem, Pa. to take on Lehigh on March 1st. The match is set for 11:00am.
