Women's Squash Defeats Franklin and Marshall 9-0 on Day One of the MASC Championships

LANCASTER, PA – Drexel women's squash sweeps Franklin and Marshall 9-0 on day one of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships.
Drexel women's squash dominated their match with a 9-0 sweep, winning all played matches in straight sets. Moa Bonnemark led the way at the top of the lineup, securing an 11-5, 11-8, 11-6 victory over Gurlin Kaur. Emma Bartley followed with a decisive 11-4, 11-4, 11-4 win against Zarine Gidwaney. Emilia Falconi controlled her match, earning an 11-0, 11-6, 11-5 victory over Mia Todd, while Dina Rosli overwhelmed Ashanti Amastal with an 11-0, 11-3, 11-0 win.
Lydia Robinson battled through a tight first game before cruising to an 11-0, 11-4 finish against Tatum Long. Lijana Sultana, Claudia Adam, and Ava Prokes each delivered convincing wins as well. Maddison Laine was awarded a default win to complete the sweep, capping off Drexel's dominant team performance.
The Dragons finish the group stage tomorrow at 2:00pm against Stanford.
