Women's Squash Knocked off Georgetown 8-1 in Third Place Playoff at the MASC Championships

LANCASTER, PA – Drexel women's squash defeated Georgetown 8-1 in the third-place playoff of the of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships. This was the Dragons second win this season over the Hoyas.
Moa Bonnemark opened with a strong 3-0 win over Rachel Mashek (11-8, 11-7, 11-3), while Emma Bartley followed with a 3-0 victory against Sanah Syed (11-6, 11-9, 11-3). Emi Falconi secured another straight set win over Cecilia Curran (11-9, 11-7, 11-8).
Dina Rosli battled past Ana Margarita Quijano in four games (11-8, 11-3, 7-11, 11-7), and Lijana Sultana also needed four to defeat Lindsay Lee (11-5, 8-11, 11-8, 11-3). Claudia Adam rebounded after dropping the first game to defeat Aarohi Kuthari 3-1 (7-11, 11-6, 11-1, 11-6). Maddie Laine and Eveli Malk won in straight sets, with Malk edging out Sydney Bramen in a tight match (12-10, 11-9, 11-9).
The Dragons will be on the road at Cambridge, Massachusetts to take on Harvard on February 15th. The match is set for 12:00pm.
