Women’s Rowing Advances Three Boats to Grand Finals at Doc Hosea Invitational

CAMDEN, N.J. - Three boats advanced to Grand Finals of the Doc Hosea Invitational as the Drexel women's rowing team battled for the first time this spring. The 2V8+, 3V8+, and V4+ all advanced on time Saturday on Cooper River. No. 9 Rutgers took home the top spot in all four Grand Finals.
The Varsity 4+ team was the highest finishing team on the day for Drexel. Rowing in Laura Ludwick White, Katie O'Donnell (Coxswain), Kari Prosperi, Colette Zidek, Jaelyn Walsh, and Lily Gramlich (Bow) came home in fourth place at a time of 7:40.386. The Black Knights finished first at 7:16.070.
The 2V8+ team crossed the line in sixth, coming home at a time of 6:58.622. The 3V8+ boat was also sixth best, clocking in at 7:20.823.
The Dragons return to action back on Cooper River as they compete in the Knecht Cup Regatta April 12-13.
