Women's Squash Falls 7-2 to Cornell in First Round of CSA National Team Championships

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel women's squash falls 7-2 to Cornell in round one of the CSA Women's Team National Championships. The Dragons will finish the year 9-10.

Emi Falconi battled through five games at the No. 3 position, coming from behind to defeat Ananya Dabke 11-9, 4-11, 8-11, 11-8, 11-5. Maddie Laine also earned a comeback win at No. 9, rallying from two games down to take her match over Devon Shatzman 10-12, 4-11, 11-7, 11-3, 11-8. Dina Rosli forced a fifth game at No. 4 in a back-and-forth match with Alysa Ali, but ultimately came up just short in the deciding game. Emma Bartley also pushed her match to four close games before falling at the No. 2 spot.
