Men's Tennis Drops Battle at Hofstra, 4-3

HEMPSTEAD, NY– Drexel men's tennis drops match on the road at Hofstra, 4-3. The Dragons move to 10-6 on the season and 2-3 in the conference.
Drexel secured the doubles point with strong performances at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions. Will Burridge and Hussein El Tawil edged out a tight 7-6 (12-10) win, while Josue Guzman and Antonio Franquis delivered a 6-4 victory.
In singles play, Will Burridge came through at No. 3 with a 7-6 (4), 7-5 win, and Tiago Lima added another point at No. 6 after pulling out a 7-5, 5-7, 10-3 victory in a third-set super tiebreak.
The Dragons will wrap up the regular season on April 19th at home against Monmouth. The match is set for 1:00pm.
