Men's Tennis Loses 5-2 to Monmouth

PHILADELPHIA– Drexel men's tennis loses regular season finale against Monmouth, 5-2. The Dragons move to 10-7 on the season and 2-4 in the conference.
The Dragons celebrated Senior Day prior to the match, honoring Alex De Sousa, Hussein El Tawil, and Roman Lafond for their contributions to the program.
The Dragons grabbed the doubles point behind wins from Will Burridge and Hussein El Tawil at the No. 2 spot and Josue Guzman and Antonio Franquis at No. 3.
In singles play, Guzman picked up a straight-set win at the No. 6 position.
The Dragons will head to Elon, North Carolina, for the first round of the CAA Championships on April 25. Their opponent and match time are still to be determined.
