Drexel Student-Athletes Participate in 2025 Community Clean-Up Day

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel University student-athletes participated in a Community Clean-Up Day on Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26. The Community Clean-Up Day was in partnership with the Office of University and Community Partnerships and presented by Spark Therapeutics.
The Dragons volunteered their time at the Mantua Urban Peace Garden and the Embracing Truth Ministries on Friday. The day after, DU student-athletes assisted the Spring Garden Festival at the Dornsife Center.
"Our student-athletes take immense pride in stepping beyond their playing field and into the community for the 3rd Annual Community Day of Service," Peaches Brown, Drexel's Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Development said. "This day is about more than service—it's about building relationships, giving back to the neighborhoods that support us, and showcasing the true spirit of teamwork. We celebrate the profound impact of collaboration with our campus partners and our West Philadelphia neighbors. Together, we're making a lasting impact, one connection at a time."
