Queen Earns All-American Honors at USA Wrestling U20 Nationals

LAS VEGAS, Nevada - Jasiah Queen of Drexel wrestling earned All-American honors at the U20 2025 US Open in Las Vegas, Nevada. Queen finished in sixth place at 79kg out of 119 participants.
The Elizabeth, New Jersey native defeated Oumary Alvarez of North Carolina by a 7-4 decision in the blood round to earn All-American status. Overall, Queen concluded the tournament with an impressive 7-3 record in just two days of action, with three victories with bonus points. The redshirt freshman has now qualified for the U20 World Team Trails from May 30-June 1.
Dan Rella also competed in the 86kg weight class. He placed 12th out of 63 wrestlers with a 4-2 mark.
"We are very proud of Jasiah's performance," said Mert '67 and '69 Hill Head Coach Matt Azevedo. "He is continuing to grow as a wrestler and is showing that he's one of the top wrestlers in the country. Dan's also had an impressive performance and we are excited to see what he can do in the future for this program."
