Allison Drake Named CAA Offensive Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. - Allison Drake of Drexel women's lacrosse was named CAA Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference Monday afternoon.
Drake racked up ten goals in the match ups against Temple and Elon. Nine of the ten goals from the Easton, Pa. produce came unassisted as she broke the 50 goal mark for the first time in her career.
The graduate student hit the back of the net six times against the Owls on Wednesday. She came one score shy of a career-high, and had a season best 11 shots with nine on goal. Drake rounded out the week with a four goal performance on senior Day against Elon. Three of her goals came in the second half as the Dragons clinched the No. 2 seed in the CAA Championships.
Drexel will play Delaware on Thursday in the CAA Semifinal game in Stony Brook, N.Y. at 2:30 p.m. Action can be seen on Lacrosse TV.
