RICHMOND, Va. – Drexel men's tennis standouts Alex De Sousa, Will Burridge, and Roman Lafond earned postseason honors from the Colonial Athletic Association, as announced Friday afternoon. De Sousa and Burridge were named to the All-CAA Third Team Singles, while De Sousa and Lafond earned a spot on the All-CAA Second Team Doubles.
A graduate senior, De Sousa picked up the singles All-CAA honor after holding down the No. 1 position in all 17 of Drexel's dual matches this spring. He also secured his third career All-CAA doubles selection—this time alongside Roman Lafond. Competing together at the top of the lineup, the pair earned 10 wins on the year and were a steady presence throughout the spring. The honor marks the first All-CAA award of Lafond's career.
Burridge, a sophomore, had a breakout campaign while rotating between the No. 2 and No. 3 singles positions. He led the team with 17 total wins, including a 12-6 dual match record, and delivered consistently strong play across both conference and non-conference matchups. This marks the first All-CAA recognition of his career.
