Men's Tennis Completes Successful Weekend at Saint Joseph's Invitational

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel men's tennis wrapped up play at the Saint Joseph's Invitational, highlighted by a doubles finals appearance from Anthony Moukarzel and Lun Obrul.
Moukarzel and Obrul advanced to the championship match of their doubles flight after picking up a pair of wins in the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds before falling in the final. Tiago Lima and Egor Kirakosov also reached the semifinals in doubles play. In singles, Kirakosov advanced to the third round of his flight, while Moukarzel and Lima each collected main draw victories.
"We challenged the team this weekend by pulling our number one player and moving everyone up into the top flights," head coach Mehdi Rhazali said. "The group competed well — showing great effort and resilience — and while we still have work to do, we're definitely moving in the right direction. A special highlight goes to Lun and Anthony, who had a standout performance and reached the finals of their doubles flight. Proud of the team's progress and looking forward to building on this."
