2025-26 Men’s Basketball Big 5 Schedule Announced

PHILADELPHIA – The schedule for the 2025-26 Big 5 men's basketball season was announced on Wednesday. The Dragons will visit Saint Joseph's and host Penn in their two pod games this season.
For the third straight year, each of the city's six NCAA Division I men's basketball programs have been split into two pods of three teams. Each team will play the others in their pod at on-campus sites in a round-robin format. From those games, the schedule will be set for a tripleheader at Wells Fargo Center on Saturday, Dec. 6 with the first seed in each pod competing for the Big 5 championship, the second-place teams in each pod competing for third place, and the third seeds competing for fifth place.
For the 2025-26 season, one pod will feature Drexel, Penn and Saint Joseph's while the other pod features La Salle, Temple and Villanova.
Tickets for the men's Toyota Big 5 Classic at Wells Fargo Center will go on sale in September. Fans are encouraged to visit Big5Classic.com for updates.
