Dragon of the Week: Duffy and Pittaoulis

PHILADELPHIA – Elise Duffy and Julian Pittaoulis named the Drexel Dragons of the Week, presented by Rothman Orthopaedics, for the week of August 18th–24th.

Elise Duffy, a member of the women's soccer team, matched a career high with two assists in Drexel's 2-0 win over Saint Joseph's. The senior set up both second-half goals, including the game-winner in the 50th minute, as the Dragons took down the Hawks. Duffy now leads the team with four points through the opening three matches of the season.

Julian Pittaoulis, a member of the men's soccer team, scored the Dragons' lone goal in a 1-1 draw against Fordham on August 24th. The senior converted a loose ball off a corner kick in the 19th minute, placing it into the top left corner of the net. Pittaoulis has registered four shots on goal through Drexel's first two contests of the season.
