
Drexel Falls to Temple, 2-0

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel dropped its first home game of the season on Tuesday evening, falling 2-0 to Temple. The Dragons are now 3-3 on the year.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Temple struck in the opening quarter to take the early lead. The game remained a stalemate through the second and third quarters as both teams battled for chances. The Owls added a late insurance goal in the final minute of the fourth to seal the result.
BY THE NUMBERS
Drexel registered five shots, including two on goal.
Valentine Van Hellemont, Marti Sanabria, Natali Foster, Anna Castaldo, Kylah Kelly, and Anna Getty each played the full 60 minutes.

The Dragons continue their city slate on Sunday, September 21, with a trip to Penn. Game time from Ellen Vagelos Field is scheduled for 12 p.m.
