BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Liv Brocious scored her second goal of the season as Drexel battled Lehigh to a 1-1 draw Thursday night in rainy Bethlehem. The Dragons are now tied with Cal Poly for the most ties in Division I, with five, as DU moves to 1-1-5 on the season.

The start time for the match was delayed an hour and 10 minutes due to lightning. The final 10 minutes were played in heavy rain, adding to the challenge for both teams.

The Dragons struck first in the 38th minute. Cam Schuler served a cross into the box that Brocious headed on frame. Her attempt was deflected, but a Lehigh defender redirected the ball into the net for the goal.

The Mountain Hawks evened the match in the 57th minute. Summer Hill played a ball through the middle of the channel to Savannah Connor. Her first touch was denied by Sammy Widnick, but Connor collected the rebound and slotted it through the bottom right pocket for the equalizer.

DU concludes the two-game road trip against Delaware on Sunday. This will be the inaugural non-conference battle against the Blue Hens. Action from Newark, Del. is set for 12 p.m.
