PHILADELPHIA – Morgan Worsfold-Gregg and Fleur Hamers named the Drexel Dragons of the Week, presented by Rothman Orthopaedics, for the week of September 2nd–8th.
Morgan Worsfold-Gregg, a member of the men's soccer team, recoded two assists against Monmouth on Saturday. The sophomore delivered a corner kick in the 79th minute that was converted by Mateo Camejo, then helped set up another tally just two minutes later with a ball into the box that led to Julian Pittaoulis' finish.
Fleur Hamers, a member of the field hockey team, scored the game-winner in Drexel's 1-0 victory over Louisville. The freshman found the back of the cage in the 40th minute, putting away a rebound off the post for her first career goal. The Dragons limited Louisville to just five shots, including one on goal, to secure their first shutout of the fall. Hamers was named CAA Co-Rookie of the Week for her performance.
