Jordan Soriano Earns EIWA Wrestler of the Week Honors

BETHLEHEM, PA. — Jordan Soriano of the Drexel wrestling team has been named EIWA Wrestler of the Week, as announced by the conference this afternoon. This is the second EIWA weekly award of Soriano's career.
Soriano delivered an impressive performance at the NWCA Mid-Major Duals this past weekend, highlighted by a 10-8 decision victory over No. Cory Land of Northern Iowa. He managed to score a takedown with just ten seconds remaining in the bout to pick up the victory. The senior finished the weekend with a perfect 5-0 record, including a pair of falls. The Westbury, N.Y., product is now 14-6 on the season overall with a 10-2 dual record.
