PHILADELPHIA – Drexel Athletics has announced its promotional schedule for the 2026-27 men's and women's basketball seasons. Fans can look forward to giveaways, theme nights, special recognitions, family events and student-focused promotions throughout the winter as both Dragon programs compete on their home court.
The promotional calendar begins with the women's basketball home opener on Nov. 2 against Marist with a t-shirt giveaway. Men's basketball opens at the DAC on Nov. 7 against Colgate with Veterans Appreciation Day, which includes a cheesesteak fries giveaway coupon for the first 250 students.
A pair of marquee Big 5 matchups highlight November. Women's basketball hosts Saint Joseph's on Nov. 15, featuring a Progressive Shot contest for $50,000, while men's basketball welcomes the Hawks on Nov. 20 for the annual Gold Out game, complete with raffle prizes including AirPods.
The month also features two new additions to the men's basketball fan experience. On Nov. 11 against American, Drexel will unveil the new 1891 Social Club, providing fans with a unique game-day atmosphere. Later in the month, students can take part in the annual Battle of 33rd Street Walk Over prior to the Dragons' Nov. 24 matchup with Penn, with a DAC Pack t-shirt giveaway helping build excitement for one of Philadelphia's premier college basketball rivalries.
After the new year, join Drexel basketball for $1 Dog night on January 7 and the annual Homecoming games on January 22 and 23. The annual bobblehead giveaway, paired with a Ben Franklin Look-Alike Contest is slated for February 8.
In February, women's basketball will play their $1 Dog Day game against William & Mary on February 14 and have a Mario Bobblehead giveaway on February 26.

Men's VIP seats start at $40. Reserved chairbacks are $25 for each game and $20 for Drexel alumni and faculty. Group reserved tickets for men's games are $15 each for a group of 20 or more. On the women's side, VIP seats are $30, while reserved chairbacks begin at $10 for alumni and faculty and $15 for the general public.
