Drexel Falls to Rider, 30-10

PHILADELPHIA — The Drexel wrestling team fell to Rider Saturday afternoon in the DAC, 30-10. Three Dragons earned victories, as DU moves to 12-5 on the season
The Broncs opened the dual by winning the first five matches, building a commanding 19-0 lead. Cody Walsh put the Dragons on the board at 165 pounds with an impressive performance. Walsh secured a takedown in the first period and added four back points to take a 7-0 advantage. He dominated on top for more than five minutes of riding time, cruising to a 12-0 major decision.
Ethan Wilson earned his ninth dual victory at 184 pounds, taking a 2-1 decision win. Nate Schon picked up his fifth consecutive victory as he earned the 6-1 decision over Hogan Swenski to close the night out.
