Women's Squash Tops No. 9 Amherst, 9-0

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel women's squash team defeated No. 9 Amherst Saturday, 9-0, at the Kline & Specter Squash Center.
In the first position, Moa Bonnemark won in three games, 11-8, 11-7 and 11-5. The second position saw Emma Bartley win in four games, 11-8, 11-2, 8-11 and 11-3. Ana Botello won in the third, 11-4, 11-6 and 11-8. In the fourth Emi Falconi won 11-9, 11-6 and 11-8. Luciana Castillo earned a straight-game victory in the fifth position, 11-9, 11-5 and 11-7. At No. 6, Nori Juhasz cruised to a win in three games, 11-6, 11-5 and 11-5. Awande Malinga followed in the seventh spot, taking the match 11-6, 11-3 and 11-3. In the eighth position, Lijana Sultana secured a three-game victory, 11-4, 11-8 and 11-2, while Claudia Adam claimed the ninth spot in straight games, 11-7, 11-4 and 11-6. Rounding out the sweep, Ava Prokes won in the tenth position, 11-7, 11-5 and 11-8.
