Dragons Use Even-Par 288 in Round Three to Place Fifth at Oldfield Classic

OKATIE, S.C. – Drexel Golf finished fifth out of 16 teams on Tuesday afternoon at the Oldfield Classic. The three-round event was played at Oldfield Golf Club, a 7,133-yard, par-72 course. The Dragons closed the tournament with an even-par 288 in the final round to finish the two-day event at 26-over-par 890.
Caleb Taylor led the way for Drexel, firing a 3-under-par 69 on Tuesday to finish at 1-over-par 217 and place eighth overall. Four spots behind him was Kevin Lydon, who carded a 1-under-par 71 in the final round to secure 12th place at 2-over-par 218.
John Keba rounded out Drexel's top-25 finishers finishing in 23rd. The Dragons entered the final round in seventh place and climbed two spots to secure a top-five finish in their first event of the 2026 spring season.
Drexel now turns its attention to the Peoples Championship, hosted by Western Carolina, beginning March 11 at Sea Palms Resort.
