Men's Swimming and Diving Move Into Third Place on Day One of the CAA Championships

HAMPTON, Va. – Drexel men's swimming and diving won gold, earned a bronze medal, and set a school record on the opening night of the 2026 CAA Championships. The Dragons are in third place with 100 points after Wednesday's finals.
Drexel claimed gold in the 200-yard medley relay as Theo Andreopoulos, Mark Eszes, Sebastian Smith, and Declan Egger finished first in 1:25.82.
Joshua Gratton placed seventh in the championship final of one-meter diving. Simon Huth finished ninth and Milo Whitbeck placed 10th.
The Dragons added a bronze medal in the 800-yard freestyle relay. Matas Cinga, Reds Rullis, Roko Krpina, and Petar Pavalic finished third in 6:28.97. Cinga's opening 200 freestyle split of 1:35.74 set a school record.
