Women's Tennis Wins Tight Match vs Monmouth, 4-3

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – The Drexel women's tennis team won a thrilling road match over the Monmouth Hawks Saturday, 4-3.

In doubles, Bia Ibrahim and Olivia Chowgule won the third doubles court first, 6-4. Anastasia Kavounov and Rebecca Fiedler won doubles 2 with a score of 6-2, and Lorie Lemongo and Adva Dabah claimed the win on doubles 1 by a score of 6-4.

In singles, Chowgule was defeated in the sixth court 1-6 and 5-7. Sofiya Snitko won singles four, 6-0 and 6-4. Singles five saw Ibrahim fall 1-6 and 3-6. Fiedler dropped singles three, falling 2-6 and 4-6. Lemongo and Kavounov won singles one and singles two, by scores of 6-3, 6-2 and 6-2, 6-3, respectively.
