Drexel Concludes Day One of Sarasota 2K

SARASOTA, Fla. — The Drexel women's rowing team qualified one boat for the Petite Final at the Sarasota 2K on Friday afternoon. The 2nd Varsity 4+ posted the team's top finish of the day, placing third in its heat to advance to the B Final. All other teams will move onto the C Final.

The 2V4+ finished with a time of 7:54.59, six seconds behind second-place Louisville. The top two crews from each heat advanced to the Grand Final, the next two moved on to the Petite Final, and the remaining boats were placed in the C Final.

The finals will begin tomorrow from Nathan Benderson Park at 8 a.m.
