WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Drexel women's tennis team fell to UNCW Friday afternoon, 5-2, in Wilmington.
In doubles play, Anastasia Kavounov and Rebecca Fiedler fell in a close, 6-4, match. Lorie Lemongo and Adva Dabah were defeated 6-2. Sofiya Snitko and Christine Fourie won 6-4.
In singles, Fiedler fell 6-3 and 6-2, Snitko lost 6-4 and 6-2, Fourie was defeated 6-1 and 6-2. Dabah won 6-4 and 7(7)-6(5). Lemongo dropped a close match 7-5 and 6-4. Kavounov lost the first set 6-2 before winning the next two 7-5 and 12-10.
