Kavounov triumphs at Singles 2, while Dragons fall to William & Mary

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Drexel women's tennis team fell to the William & Mary Tribe on Sunday, 6-1, in Williamsburg.
In doubles play Adva Dabah and Lorie Lemongo fell 6-0. Rebecca Fiedler and Anastasia Kavounov fell 6-1. Christine Fourie and Sofiya Snitko were defeated 7(7)-6(0). In singles play Lemongo won a set but ultimately fell 3-6, 6-2 8-10. Kavounov triumphed in the second position, winning 6-4 and 6-2. Fiedler fell 6-3 and 6-2. Snitko fell 6-1 and 6-2. Dabah was defeated 6-2 and 6-0. Fourie's match was retired due to injury.
