PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's tennis team defeated Delaware on Thursday, 4-2, at home.
In doubles play, Josue Guzman and Antonio Franquis won 6-3. Lun Obrul and Anthony Moukarzel fell 6-4. Tarek Mo Erlewein and Will Burridge secured the doubles point for Drexel with a 7-6 win.
In singles, Guzman dropped the first set 6-3 before winning the next two 6-1 and 6-1. Franquis was defeated 6-3 and 6-4. Obrul won the first set 6-4 but dropped the next two 6-1 and 6-1. Burridge lost the first set 7-6 before winning 6-4 and 6-1. Moukarzel also lost the first set 6-3 before winning 6-3 and 7-6. Erlewein's match went unfinished.
