Men's Tennis to Face Charleston In CAA Tournament Quarterfinals

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Drexel men's tennis team is set to face No. 4 College of Charleston Cougars at 9 a.m. Friday in the quarterfinals of the CAA Men's Tennis Championship Tournament hosted by William & Mary. Live stats for the match are available here and fans can follow the tournament here.
ABOUT DREXEL
The Dragons are the fifth seed in the tournament, having gone 13-3 (3-2 in conference play) on the year. The season included a nine-match winning streak, and every team member had a winning singles record. Lun Obrul leads the team with a 16-8 singles match record. Tarek Mo Erlewein and Will Burridge went 16-4 in doubles play.
ABOUT CHARLESTON
The Cougars finished the season with an 11-5 (2-1 in conference play) record. Freshman Dani Farran leads the team with a 12-2 singles record. In doubles, the pairing of sophomore Jake Smith and junior Ram Mude have a 9-4 record.
THE SERIES
This will be the seventh time the two teams have met since 1982. The series is currently tied 3-3 after a close, 4-3 Charleston win in March.
