Drexel Takes Four of Five Races From Navy

PHILADELPHIA — The Drexel men's rowing team were victorious in four of five races Saturday afternoon from the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. The Dragon Varsity 8+, 2nd Varsity 8+, 3rd Varsity 8+ and 5th Varsity 8+ all collected wins.
The V8+ crew of Luke Joseph, Ben Werber, Willem Kirsch, Matthew Kennedy, Milo Epstein, Kyle Brown, Jakob Mauntel, Jono Andersson and Justus Bormann rowed Krall IV to a time of 5:44.36. The Dragons finished 2.36 seconds ahead of the Midshipman.
The 2V8+ clocked in at 5:48.59, while the 3V8+ posted a time of 5:50.68. The 5V8+ finished the course at 6:13.2.
The Dragons will return to action at the Dad Vail Regatta on May 8–9.
