Caleb Taylor Leads Drexel After Day One of CAA Championships

ST. HELENA ISLAND, S.C. – Caleb Taylor finished the first day of the CAA Championships in 15th place overall after posting a 2-under par 70 on the Cotton Dike course of the Dataw Island Golf Course, a 6,787-yard par 72. The Dragons are currently in eighth place after the first of three rounds.
Taylor's first round featured five birdies, including three straight to end the round. Kevin Lydon shot an even-par and is currently in 25th overall. Lydon's front nine featured three birdies and one bogey.
The Dragons finished the first round with a 4-over par. UNCW leads the pack with 12-under par. Action from Dataw Island is set to continue on Monday morning. Drexel's first tee time is set for 9:30 a.m.
