Dragons Finish Day Two of CAA Championships

ST. HELENA ISLAND, S.C. – The Drexel golf team finished day two of the CAA Championships firing a 6-over par to tie for seventh. Two Dragons are currently in the top-25 with one round remaining on the Cotton Dike course of the Dataw Island Golf Course, a 6,787-yard par 72.
Caleb Taylor finished the second round with a even-par 72 to hold steady at 2-under par 144. The senior made three birdies in his second round. Taylor is ranked 12th with 18 holes to play. Keven Lydon began his day with a stunning 4-under par 32 in the front nine, however a bogey on 17 and a triple-bogey on 18 held Lydon at even-par 72 for the second straight round. Lydon is placed 21st after round two.
Drexel is tied with William & Mary at 10-over par after two. Leading the championship, for the second day in a row is UNCW at 18-under par. Drexel will tee off for the third round on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.
